2015/02/06 Report on Dacheng Township Wheat[Hsiang-yun Cho].

       Dacheng Township is located in the southwest side of Changhua County which focused mainly on agriculture and farming, the main crops are rice and grains, etc., The wheat were grew in Dacheng Township about 50 years ago. The multiple cropping of wheat could not only increase the degree of self-sufficiency for domestic food, by also change the landscape of Dacheng Township.

        In wheat mature season, it is poetic that the endless stretches of wheat with full golden wheat dancing with wind and rises one after another. This beautiful picture just leaped to my eyes - Dacheng Township Wheat Field. All the students were busy to take pictures with the tall and straight golden soldiers while the sun didn’t goes down. It was only in foreign scenery films or films in former times; however, you could also meet unexpectedly the wheat field in Dacheng Township in recent years that located in southern part of Changhua with inconvenient traffic and brunt of typhoon. The 200 hectares of wheat fields are more spectacular.

       Dacheng wheat provides countrymen with the most healthy and natural grain and tries to make them no longer rely only on the imported grain. The visit not only glutted my eyes, but also felt deeply enthusiasm of farmers for crops. [Hsiang-yun Cho].

2015/02/06 Report on Dacheng Township Wheat[You Wu] .

       Although the area and production of wheat that planted in Dacheng Township at present might be only one over ten thousand of the Taiwan import wheat annually, but this one over ten thousand has been gradually changing the view of the town, from Mr. Liu’s enthusiastic mouth and eyes, we saw not just the change of the rural, also the great leap forward of agriculture in Taiwan. My agricultural knowledge was limited to newspapers and magazines, media information, and so on, through the activities of Joy & Hope Wheat this time, I was lucky to get a better understanding toward Taiwan wheat.
