Dong Nan Joy & Hope Wheat Team’s DIY began with the seeds provide by Joy & Hope Wheat. The school offered a land on the campus. The students cleaned the land, sowed the seeds, watered and removed the weeds. They happily harvested the wheat. This experience helped students know from seeds to grain. They realized that to be nice to the land is to be nice to themselves. They understood it was not an easy process from the seeds to grain.
Then we visited Joy & Hope Workshop Wheat Milling Plant, witnessing the process in which wheat is milled into flour. Finally we came to Joy & Hope Bakery to DIY breads. We had the amazing experience of making hot breads and savoring them. |
