Model for helping the disadvantaged |
|
| | Chia-en Chen | | I
hope to learn more about the disadvantaged group, such as the
definition, their needs, and how to help them. I hope to experience the
joy of helping others and learn to cherish what we have now. |

We hoped that this plan taught more people about public
interest, and spread more love to people who need help. | |

We hoped to learn more about the spirit and idea of helping the
disadvantaged through helping the classmates at school. We had a
successful service action, and expected more people to respond and
support our actions. | |
|
| Ping Jun- Lai | Our team controlled the learning progress, and the teachers
assigned some course missions. These helped them review and preview
mathematic, and effectively helped students with poor mathematic
continue to improve. |

Remote Town Study Tour |
|
| Chia-wei Lin |
| Children
in the city own huge book resource and excellent reading environment
while most children in remote area are relatively short of these. We
donated the books we finished reading to share our resources and take
care of the disadvantaged.
| | Yu-ta LU | |
If they could own more learning resources, they might not need
to face this difficulty, so we should actively help them. |

Rummage Sale |

We formally donated this amount from the charity
bazaar to CCNDA. This successful charity bazaar helped us reach the
goal of caring our communities and helping more people.
|
|
|
Rummage sales are the best way to donate to social
welfare. We saw many generous schools and associations donated and
helped many people by mean of charity fund raising, and got very good
results.

Happy Learning Angels |

CCNDA teachers who are stronger in different courses lead the
afterschool companionship study class. Even though our service objects
were the students whose academic progress was behind, we did very hard
to help them in the companionship study class.

To
care for the disadvantaged, we don’t need to have a lot of skills, but
we need to have empathy. If you care people in need and know the
difference between you and them, you will be willing to accept them and
help them, as well as finding what they really need and then giving
them right help.

Parent-Child Camping |

This activity was very successful, and everyone had great time.
We started with brilliant talent show. Group games and dinner time were
the most joyful moment for everyone. It was fun to see all children and
adults running back and forth and play together.

Drama Tour |

We practically watched volunteers running the public
benefit activities to learn the direction for our team. In this
observation of play, our team would like to learn how CCNDA’s
volunteers were combined with community schools to hold a festival
activity. We learned and observed volunteers’ attitude and philosophy,
and execution of an activity from it. |
