Caring for the Disadvantaged
In 2005, CCNDA formed HHDC to be the service stronghold for serving the disadvantaged families. However, due to quick changes of the society in recent years, the life problems of many disadvantaged families become more and more complicated. With slender budget subsidy, it cannot really help the education and care for their children. Therefore, we must start with the change of the family nature, and let their children be cared more, and let them own more developing space. Parts of children come to HHDC because their parents are busy at work, and no one can take care of them at home. Therefore, CCNDA formed the companionship study classes for middle and elementary school students to provide them a quiet study environment when they come to HHDC after school. Also, the teachers will sit beside them to tutor and accompany them, help them solve their schoolwork problems, and reinforce their academic work.

In recent years, Taiwan has been facing ageing problem, so the amount of living-alone seniors increases day by day. Therefore, CCNDA offers the caring service for living-alone seniors to provide nice cares to them, and people to accompany them. The emotional interaction among grandpa and grandma and volunteers brings them spiritual help, so that they will not feel lonely, and the warm relationship is also built in their life after they open their minds.
