Ms. I-Hsuan Li, the Executive Secretary
Origin
The job title of Ms. I-hsuan Li is Executive Secretary, which means that she is a superwoman who needs to be involved in any activity, any event, and any plan in the association. Let us take a look at her interview.
Interview
1.How many years have you served in CCNDA? Why did you join CCNDA?
I have served in CCNDA for 10 years. When I was a student, I grew up here, so I had hoped to remain in CCNDA. It took care of me very much so that I wanted to continue to stay here. I was a part-time student without pay, but I am getting paid now.
2.We saw you implement many projects from your job contents. How were these activity projects produced? How were these projects implemented? Which role did you play in these projects?
I would lead the teachers to discuss something that the community needs, and then we would plan it according to the needs. For example, I held a photography aesthetics camp, and discovered that everyone needed more practice in environmental observation, so we hope children and youths can become the next generation who makes a difference.
3.Can you talk about your job contents? CCNDA services include holistic learning, disadvantaged care, and community services. How were these projects and activities operated? Which role did you play among these?
Specialized teachers lead elder college. I usually serve children and youths. I was responsible for applying for the projects of after-school accompanying study and summer break camp for elementary and junior high, proposing the projects and implementing the activities. We held some training camps for holistic learning, and life education is in the same dimension of such. After-school accompanying study falls under the category of caring for the disadvantaged, while summer break camps and elder college are community services.
4.What joy did the job bring you? What’s the saddest or the most disappointed thing the job made you feel?
It’s a very interesting job. My job was to write for the project. In the beginning, I thought  a writing job . As long as I produced a good writing, the fund will be approved. Later, I knew that my writing would help many people, so I started to do my job seriously.
5.How can we get more people to help CCNDA or donate money?
My view is to practically help the community, to do community services whenever there is a need. Students need to learn how to serve, so I hold activities. I also hold volunteer activities to get more people to help the association. Some students need service hours, so we give them opportunity to get the hours they need and more people are willing to serve here.
6.According to your experience, what would you suggest children like us to help or care people?
You need to have the ambition to think how you want to help people in the future. You need to think about it when you are still young, then you do it when you grow up. As long as you have the heart, you we must strive to seize the opportunity to serve.
