Service Experience>Parent-Child Camping

This service action plan started with parent-child camping. The children who need care were invited to the program. Our purpose for this program were parenting and camping. The concept of parenting was that most of the disadvantaged families do not have extra time to accompany their children, so we provide this activity to allow every family to enjoy the fun of outdoor activities together, and improve their interaction with children. The concept of camping was to let children learn the skills and concepts of independent living, and appreciate it. The disadvantaged families do not have chance to participate in such leisure activity, so we provided this activity for them to experience.

This activity was very successful, and everyone had great time. We started with brilliant talent show. Group games and dinner time were the most joyful moment for everyone. It was fun to see all children and adults running back and forth and play together.

In our parent-child camping service program, we designed activities and performances to please parents and children. This was the original purpose of designing the service activities.
