About CCNDA>Service Purposes

The purpose of CCNDA is to care seniors, youths, and children living alone, and provide them education and training, especially for those who are disadvantaged or who need these. Besides, CCNDA also provides different types of services. They serve everyone to build a peaceful community. The service contents of CCNDA are divided into few items such as caring for the disadvantaged, holistic learning, volunteer service, and normal community service.

The purpose of caring for the disadvantaged was expected to provide care to disadvantaged families and allow their children to freely develop themselves within any learning field.
From 2005, CCNDA formed a service site for the disadvantaged families at the site of HHDC. The “after-school accompanying study class” was first started to assist the after-school care for the children of the disadvantaged family in the community, and provide poor families care and help. A group of teachers built a learning environment suitable for the studying and self-development of youths in the after-school accompanying study class, and provide youths accompanying and care. They also provide services to seniors living alone.
The items of holistic learning include elder college, character education for children, life education for elementary and junior high school, and the women’s book club. The volunteer service contains a youth service learning team. The main job of the service team is to plan the children’s activities for their summer break.

In the normal community services, CCNDA also holds camps. Moreover, all the outdoor leisure activities provide chances of outside activities for people who like to stay at home. Community festival activities are held by CCNDA on some important holidays to develop the emotional bond among people in the community.
CCNDA hopes to become localized, like school districts. Some people need to rush to participate from very far, so the site nearby should provide services to avoid traffic issues.
