Thoughts>Afterthoughts

Yi-ting Liu     I feel the topic for this Cyberfair project was very meaningful. Not only we learned how to make website, but also we helped the others with our own strength. I feel every teacher and every social worker taught me much. They all contributed much in CCNDA. Ruei-luen Lien     All CCNDA’s teachers and workers are very kind and love to help. I should learn more from them. I saw their patience and passion to the children in CCNDA. It was impressed. The atmosphere in CCNDA was very harmonious, and everyone smiled, so I naturally had a good mood over there. We went to CCNDA and donated our check on December 7. The money we raised from charity bazaar activity in our school concert party. We donated the money to CCNDA, and hoped that they need our help. Che-hung Liu    The impressive person to me should be Ms. Ya-fen Wu, since she answered many questions in good details, and also told us some interesting stories. In the interview with Ms. Yu-mei Kao, she cried for the touching part. It was very touching to see her sincere heart. Even though the money we donated to CCNDA was not much, this was our intention. We wanted to put in our efforts to help people. Po-hsiang Hu    CCNDA provides comfortable environment and nice tutoring teachers. The teacher assigned us to teach lower grade children and be a one-day little tutor. We saw the children here were very happy. They started to chat after finishing homework. We admired that very much. The good environment makes children focus on learning. We also learned the difficulties these children face during the research procedure, and we hope that we can do our best to help them. Yu-ta LU     Among all the interviewees, the social worker Ms. Yu-mei Kao was the most impressive one to me, since she sang during the interview and cried after singing. I believe this will be a good story for all of us before our graduation. We will remember all the encouragement and touching Ms. Kao gave us. Chia-en Chen     The most impressive thing to me was that we needed to go to CCNDA every week. This was the first time I felt so busy. Many interviewees were happy to help us. This encouraged us very much, and provided us bigger motivation to continue on the project. However, we experienced much frustration during the procedure; for example, our recording pen was out of battery when we were interviewing Teacher Yueh-chiao Cheng. We need to work extremely hard in the last few months to come out with the best website. Ping Jun- Lai     Interviews help us understand the operation and infrastructure of CCNDA better. All members of our team worked together to accomplish our mission. Cyberfair project is close to the end, but I still cannot let it go in my mind. In the two years of higher grade, I participated in Cyberfair project and learned much experience of doing research. These experiences already leave me wonderful memory for my elementary school. I believe these valuable experiences can also provide me proper help in my middle school education. Chia-wei Lin     We finished all interview writing and afterthoughts. Even though we spent much time, we gained a lot too. Especially, when we did the afterthoughts, we needed to carefully review the moment and the corresponding question to clearly recall the entire interview. Also, after few times of interviews, my interviewing ability is getting better. I hope we can smoothly finish other work, promote our own ability, and improve the quality of our works. De-yang Wu      I feel the topic of caring for the disadvantaged is very meaningful. Besides finding out the topic and subjects, we needed to plan the interview procedure. These improved the relationship and the ability of helping each other among our team members, and taught us the procedure and planning of doing a project. After the teacher’s guidance, we started to design our interview scripts and select the interviewees. We also learned some good deeds and how to hold empathy to face these people who need help. Bo-han Lin     During the process of interviews, I learned many new things such as how this group is operated and whom they are helping. Their explanation help me a lot, and make me understand how blessed I am to be able to eat well and dress well.
