1.Transportation- Maokong Gondola

　　First, we took bus to Maokong Gondola Taipei zoo station and transferred to Maokong Gondola station. Maokong Gondola is Taipei’s first tourist gondola system and Taiwan’s longest mass transit Gondola.When you walked out of the station, bus stops are right in front of you.  About 23 mins, we got off the bus at the north entrance of Camphor Tree Trail. Then, walk about 4 mins to Dexing tea garden.

• Departure：The Taipei Metro Taipei Zoo Station

• Terminal：Dexing tea garden.

• Time：about 30 mins

• The Taipei Metro Taipei Zoo Station→walk about 1min→ Taipei Zoo Station transfers to Bus brown 15→take 21 mins→Zhang Shan Si.→walk about 6 mins→ Dexing tea garden

　　After walking few mins, we saw Dexing tea garden, a three-story building.  Dexing tea garden mainly produces Muzah Tiehguanyin tea, which wins many prizes every year.  Now, the tea garden opens all year round for people to visit and experience.  There are some distractive historic houses left ten years ago.

3.Experience Tea Picking　　

　　Tea picking is one of the steps of tea making.  During the process of tea picking, weather, time and tea growing conditions depends on good or bad tea.  Picking up tea tip with two leaves is called “one tip-two leaves”.

4.Indoor Withering 　　

　　The first tea is placed under sun to dry out at 12:00.  The moisture in leaves and cells are evaporated.  It makes tea leaves soft.  However, teas can’t be exposed under sunlight too much or leaves are burnt.  It affects the quality of tea.

5.Sharing Feedback

　　After greeting with Kao Zhen-sheng, he led us to lean tea picking in tea garden. We worked with those tea masters who kindly and patiently taught us about tea.  It was quite fun but quite difficult for us to work under sunlight.  When seeing Mr. Kao place the first batch of tea under sunlight to wither, we asked Mr. Kao to let us help with tea withering. After refusing several times, he gave us a chance to experience experience in the garden.  That is a wonderful experience.  One- day tea farmer succeeded.
