Wenshan was designed as a culture and education area. The number of its residents is about 230, 000 and most of them is civil and teaching staff. Proudly, compared with other districts, in Wenshan, there are 46 schools, Examination Yuan which validates the qualification of civil servants. There are lots of art groups founded perform artistic life, such as the Performing Arts School 36 run by Utheatre Arts Foundation, Taipei City Arts Promotion Office, Wen-shan Branch Center, and National GuoGuang Opera Company. They all present the vitality and kinetic energy of artistic community.
