Wenshan tea garden

　　Wenshan is surrounded by mountains. With a warm and humid climate, on the hill slopes are grown tea and Oldham bamboo shoots. Wenshan is famous for growing Tiehguanyin tea.

1.Tea : Wenshan tourist tea plantations are concentrated on the slopes from Zhinan Village to Moakong.  The origin place of Tieh guan yin tea is in Anxi Country, Fujian Province, China.  Due to the similar climate, Wenshan imported Tieh guan yin tea plant from Anxi Country.  The efforts of tea farmers, farmers’ Association and government make Wenshan’s tea industry prosperous.

2.Bamboo shoots : Wenshan’s soil and climate is suitable for growing Oldham bamboo shoots.This horn-shaped bamboo shoots is cream yellow in color and has Asian pear-like flavor which makes it taste more refreshing.
