Oiltea is also called Camellia Oil or called Tsubaki Oil in Japanese. Oiltea is made by Camellia’s seeds which is physically squeezed or chemically leached. Oiltea is used to make care products, edible oil, industrial oil, medicine and cosmetics. To make Taiwan’s fined Oiltea, it has to go through some steps such as seed-picking, sun exposure, shelling, and refining. It is a kind of vegetable oil which is suitable to fry vegetable because Oiltea can keep stable under high temperature and has less smoke. Oiltea is the healthiest oil which has been the best choice to make postpartum meals.

Sanfang Oil Company Limited is located on Zhinan road, Wenshan District. It is famous for making golden Camellia seed oil and heavy Oiltea. Sanfang Oil Company has been run over 40 years. Its other oil-making factories are located in Shenkeng. Camellia seeds are put into the oil press which presses coffee-color tea-seed cakes. Those tea-seed cakes are ground to powder which can be used for vegetable and fruit wash and body wash. Camellia seeds are harvest after Frost Drop of Lunar Calendar (Oct.23th or 24th) . Before oil-pressing, seeds need to be exposed under sunlight and shelled. Winter is the busy season for tea-making. Sanfang Oil Company Limited sells cold-pressed and baked Camellia seed oil and Oiltea. Zheng Yun-sheng said cold-pressed oil like salad tastes seed-flavored. Since cold-pressed Oilte can stand high temperature, it is used to fry vegetables. It can protect hearts and blood vessels and also does good to people whose body is hot. Baked Oiltea can be used to make oiltea noodles and Olitea chicken.
