Teachers

In a fixed curriculum, learning is often limited to the textbooks and examinations. A lot of wonderful parts of life, however, are ignored. Through the participation of Cyberfair, it is the opportunity for the children to explore the people and things around them and to find there is also a lot of knowledge in life worthy of attention. So the project theme this time is the counseling volunteers in the school.
The counseling volunteers often appear in the class or in the activities, asking if you need any help with smiles. You still can feel the warmth even if you get busy. And this warmth is deeply rooted in the heart. I hope the children can learn the counseling volunteers’ spirit and pass the warmth through the project exploration.

It’s my pleasure to have the opportunity to work on a project with a group of enthusiastic and intelligent children. Under the heavy academic pressure, still they’re willing to pursue new knowledge eagerly, dare to try a different way of learning to enhance the self-learning ability. Hope I do my best to help them so that they can learn in different vision and get more learning fun.

Kids, good for you! I have been watching them get adapted to the fast-paced life of the 5th graders on one hand and squeeze in the project on the other hand. Each day they were very busy and worked extremely hard. As a teacher and mentor, except for giving them guidance on the knowledge, I also needed to take care of their mental state. After all, they could be moody for being busy with the competition while the other students were playing. As I told them in the beginning, “It’s hard work to participate in the project. But you will learn a lot. Give yourself some challenge an make yourself grow." Learning doesn’t only happen in the classroom. Things beyond the textbook can be more meaningful. These cute kids are learning and I am also learning. Teaching and learning.
