 School volunteers can be divided into 4 teams, namely traffic, counseling, health-care and library ones. Currently, the largest team is the counseling.There are about 75 volunteers in the team and the number of the team is still growing. The leader of the team is Mrs. Mei-ling Lin. Three sub-teams are set up according to the school’s need and volunteers’ wishes, namely large- group counseling, small- group counseling and remedial class. The team leader asks for other volunteers to help if there’s other things needed to support. The counseling volunteers are mainly in the large- group counseling group. They join the small-group counseling or remedial teaching group if their time and ability permit. Except for helping students, the volunteers hold their own activities to strengthen their bond. All the volunteers think of the team as a family. They make themselves improved through some growth courses and get more support and encouragement from the warm-hearted members. . |
