| The Presentation of Our Project |      |

 After the group discussion, we decided to put all the volunteer services and growth
programs into our project presentation. We wanted to show so much information
that the first time we brought a presentation of more than one hundred slides full of
text to Mr. Lin. He said: "Now I feel very dizzy. I believe that no one wants to see so
many words in a presentation." He suggested that we check it out on the Internet
and take a look at the way how people made their presentation slides. We then
modified ours and reduced the content to 12 pages.In the practicing of giving a presentation, at first we just read the text on the Powerpoint slides. We got frustrated because the teachers and classmates who are the audience could not understand our presentation at all. We asked for the teacher’s help. He suggested us some tips such as giving examples, managing body movements, and the application of videos so that the audience may have more reaction. After the work on the presentation, we found that it was not easy for a volunteer to share with the children in the application of Powerpoint presentation and attract students to interact with them. We have more esteem on the volunteers with the expertise and enthusiasm. |
