East Market Lamb has been in the business for 40 years. It has now been taken over by the second generation of their family.  To remove the bad smells of lamb, Mr. Cheng insists on buying his lamb at the market by himself to ensure the quality of his food.

It is recommended by many old customers to try their lamb rice cake with special sauce. The lamp bone soup is another must-try. The ginger in the soup helps to remove the smell of lamb and the lamb is stewed till very tender. Using a straw to drink the soup is a shared memory of many locals.

Apart from the reputation that East Market Lamb holds for many years, the young owners care about the customer’s perceptions. As a result, there is always a long line waiting outside of the shop.
