A2: Because he was Yung Jinshi, his name was not recorded in the history of Lukang Township. The clearest record is the inscription “Qing Yung Jinshi” on the gravestone that you have seen.
A3: The official position “Digonglang” was inscribed on the gravestone after Scholar Wang passed away. In the Qing Dynasty, it was rank 9.

Afterthoughts: I took the chance of Tomb-Sweeping Day to visit the grave of Scholar Wang with Mr. Wang and take photos. I felt that the grave is spectacular. However, the neighboring graves make the space look compressed and small. Scholar Wang donated his money to the government to do good things, such a behavior fulfilled social responsibility and is worth learning.
