Wukui Chao-ching Hsu 

The imperial examination for military Juren in Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty was initiated in 1690 and was ended in 1893. A total of 309 people passed the triennial provincial examination to become military Juren degree holders. For military Jinshi, from 1694 to 1893, as per various historical records, a total of 12 people became military Jinshi degree holders. A4: We all know that after the Battle of Baguashan, chivalrous people in Taiwan failed. However, military champion Hsu did not die. Therefore, he took his family members back to Mainland China. However, our branch was relatively weaker, so we stayed in Taiwan and continued to fight for living. After more than a century, each branch has its own story. I have no idea how they are doing.

A6: The “Military Champion” tablet was left at the Military Champion Residence. There was also the Guangao he used in his military imperial examination in Beijing. There were 2 ancient Chinese Banyan trees, which were transferred to the northwest corner of Lukang Township Stadium, and are now withstanding the strong northeast monsoon.
