Tiger Well

There is a well called “Tiger Well” between Wen Shrine and Wu Temple. Tiger Well is famous for its great quality water with a sweet taste. In the past days, Tiger Well was well-known for “water from the Tiger Well is the best for tea making,” and won the reputation of “the top 1 well in Taiwan.” Unfortunately, the well was sealed and currently is only for sightseeing.

There is a “Loyal Spirit Stele” from the Japanese colonial era by the side of Wu Temple. This stele is to pay tribute to the Japanese air police died at their posts in Taiwan. The stele is currently placed at an open space beside Wu Temple.
