Yi-her Store
“Century-old store with original appearance of southern Fujian architecture” is the most appropriate description to Ye-her Store. It shows people a very old impression. We saw the old pictures of Yi-her Store when we entered the store. The owner Mr. Chao-shun Shih is the fifth generation of Yi-her Store.
What is a port store?

Yi-her Store is a three-entrance southern Fujian style building preserved very well until today. It was built in 1880, and was majorly operated for trading business between Taiwan and Mainland, and was called port store. Following the situation that most of the transportation port for commercial trading in Taiwan moved from middle Taiwan to north Taiwan, Yi-her Store is no longer a trading store after a hundred years, instead, it is a traditional store selling sandalwood, Chinese medicine, and ancient objects. If you want to purchase some souvenirs with time characteristics, then you cannot miss Yi-her Store.

The Yi-her Store today is a heritage architecture managed by Cultural Affairs Bureau. In order to preserve the completeness of heritage, the second and the third entrance are not open for tourists. These ingenious designs show ancient wisdom and ingenuity. We hope everyone loves and protects these historical sites, and passes them from generation to generation to continue the culture. Yi-her Store is the only existing threeentrance southern Fujian style architecture in Taiwan, so it needs our protection together.
Postscript
We found out that the products in Yi-her store are very interesting. For example, the store sells early medicine such as a cool-down pill for bad tempers, a freshness pill for cheering up, and a yin-yang and five elements pill for curing child flatulence. Our teacher bought a can of curry eight immortals fruit for relieving coughs and reducing sputum. If you come here to improve the above symptoms, you need to come to visit Yi-her Store.
