Research Motivation |
This November, International Taiwan Open of Surfing was held in Jinzunharbor of Donghe. Some of our classmates went and witnessed the outstanding skills of the professional surfers, going up and down along the wave like hopping from a cloud to another in the sky. How cooler could they be?
Since whole students in the classallhad a will to attend in this cyberfair project,for the quality of being fair, the decision is made by drawing lots. Luckily, we are chosen to be a part of the project. As in the first meeting, the only thing assured is to design a website. But no one knows what topic we are going to do in the project.Thereafter, the teacher popped an idea of surfing, which stunned the students a bit. The reason is that there is only one student in our group can swim, amateurishly. However, we found surfing is an attracting idea. To make the idea easier, a classmate made a joke that he had been surfing before, but only on the land, which turned out to be skateboarding. Plus, some teachers said Miss Fu’s husband is talented in surfing and also a swimming coach. If he agrees to teach us, then the swimming issue can be disregarded. While everyone was still hesitating, teacher showed us a surfing video on the internet. Watching the surfer moving back and forth on the wave, wewere all deeply impressed. Therefore, we decided to start surfing in Donghe. |
