Waste disposal is still undergoing in Sanshulu Eco-Park till now, but it is not like the way in the old days. Instead, they put the waste in the temporary landfill areas, classify it, employ different ways to process it, and finally reuse it. The detail is addressed as follows.

The waste carried by garbage trucks will be divided into two categories: flammable and inflammable waste. The former is sent to different incinerators to be burned directly, while the latter is sent to Sanshulu Eco-Park for further disposal. The waste in Sanshulu Eco-Park will be sorted into different categories, such as huge trees, large-scale furniture, spring mattresses, glass, etc. Then, the waste will be piled up temporarily. There is a district used for the collapse stuff when there is a great calamity or natural disaster.

The piled-up waste can be divided into four layers:

The first layer is for huge trees. When the fallen trees (or driftwood) are sun-dried, they will be chopped into pieces as compost or made into the large-scale art works of carving or gardening products.

The second layer is for large-scale furniture; this district is divided into two again: one is for objects in minor damage; this kind of objects will be sent to the specialized place to be repaired. When the repair is done, these objects will be sent to the second furniture stores for sale. The other kind that is unable to be utilized will be crushed and compressed by using a big machine and it will continuously put here until there is a destination to store it in the future.

The third layer is for spring mattress frames. The staff will separate bed cloth and spring and later they will ask the manufacturer to do treatment and sell off through calling for bid.

The fourth layer is for a family waste. It is carried by the cleaning squad and put it here temporarily. After disposal, it will be transported to the soil treatment plant.

The above is how the waste is disposed in Shanshuilu Eco-Park at present.
