Hsin Tung Yang was undergoing a serious law case of its trademark. Fortunately, it was settled in 2012. Before that, Hsin Tung Yang could only use the name of Ton Dau Zi or Treasure of Shanghai in China. At last, Hsin Tung Yang won the law case and regained the right to use the trademark as Hsin Tung Yang in the Chinese market.

After regaining its trademark, the pork floss, sausage and beef jerky products entered into the retail market in China. For the purpose of making processed meat products, Hsin Tung Yang established a factory in China, and soon the factory will also manufacture pineapple cakes. Hsin Tung Yang has set up a great foundation and resources in order to expend its market in China. As the old Chinese saying goes "a good start makes great success,” and we believe that Hsin Tung Yang would be splendid in the future. Hsin Tung Yang set up its first store in China in 2011, and it is located in Wu Jiang, Shanghai. Although Hsin Tung Yang has started selling their products with the name of Ton Dau Zi in China since 2009, Hsin Tung Yang could only reestablish itself in China in 2010 after regaining the right of usage of its trademark. The different firms that are named Hsin Tung Yang in Taiwan and Hsin Tung Yang in China both run their own business in China. However, these two firms with similar names were not related to each other.
