Marketing Schedule
Good marketing strategies can attract consumers, so Hsin Tung Yang has its own marketing schedule. When a special sales event takes place, the store is arranged and decorated according to the festivals, marketing events or campaign, etc. in order to attract more consumers.
There are different marketing events at different times. Since Hsin Tung Yang has established counters in department stores, these counters follow the marketing event schedule as department stores.
1.The Beginning of the Year:The sale of this period is usually right after the celebration of New Year’s Eve for Europeans and the Japanese, and soon Chinese New Year comes up. The Lunar New Year is usually in late January or early February. The Chinese New Year special sale in the Taiwanese department stores often starts before New Year’s Eve and lasts until the Lantern Festival. February 14 is Valentine's Day. Although it sometimes overlaps with the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, it is definitely a holiday department stores will not miss.
2.May:The second Sunday in May is Mother's Day, and it is a schedule that stores cannot miss.

For department stores, the number of consumers usually increases and more purchases are made, especially with leisure and sports goods. Furthermore, there is Father's Day and the Lunar Tanabata in August, which is the Chinese Valentine's Day. These special events certainly increase the sales revenue at the time.
4.October:The anniversary of department stores normally falls between October and November, and sales performance can increase to more than twice as usual. The business of Hsin Tung Yang is always a good contributor to the sales revenue around this time.
5.End of the Year:Christmas and New Year’s Eve are the highlight of the year. At this time, the whole world is celebrating, and department stores certainly need to plan accordingly.

We visited Hsin Tung Yang at the end of November. The marketing campaign at that time was "Imported Snacks”. There were a lot of imported snacks at the store. There were decorations and advertisements on the ceiling with the theme of the campaign.
