Hao Xiang

(The Starting Point) North of the Liyu Lake-->Chinshui Park at the north of the lake-->South of Liyu Lake-->Food and Shopping Area-->Aquaculture Breeding Institute Hualien (The final point)。

Introduction of the Jounrney:

Liyu Lake is the largest fresh-water lake in Taiwan。 The surface of the lake is quiet without waves and pretty. Along the journey you can see tress, flowers, vines, bees, snakes, and butterflies. Occasionally, you can even see some monkeys on the trees playing games with you. The bikeway is 4km in length. You can cycle, walk, camp, picnic, walk around the lake, jog, and boat. Around the lake, you can see shops for hiring cycles and boats. You can choose how you want to enjoy the lake, slow or fast. You can also sit in a pavilion to appreciate the lake and mountain and take a rest. At the end of the bikeway, there is a small temple. You can pray for good health and better study.

Chingshui Park at the North of the Lake

 

Chingshui park is themed in water. There are big fields of grass and many trees. It is suitable to picnic, enjoy the sceneries, and exercise.

Aquaculture Breeding Institute Hualien

As you walk in, you can see the interesting exhibition of aquatic ecology, viewing tower, family area, outdoor educational area, and lake ecology.
