Design Concept
Due to high oil prices and global warming, in recent years the government has been actively promoting an energy saving, carbon emission reducing life. The bicycle has become many people's optimum means of relaxation. In Taiwan's back hills, Hualien has the best living environment, world-class landscape, and many comfortable bike trails. Governments and private enterprises often hold many bicycle races. Besides races and landscape, Hualien is a suitable place to develop bike riding as a leisure activity. TRA is also vigorously pursuing a plan to allow tourists to ride the train along with their bikes so during holidays many leisure bicyclists will come to Hualien to ride their bikes. We will roughly divide Hualien up into 4 areas: North (Xiulin, Xincheng, Hualien City, Jian); Central ( ShouFeng, Fenglin, GuangFu, RuiSui, WanRong); South (Yuli, Fuli); East (FengBin). We provide bicycle tourists many must see scenic spots, accommodations, and gourmet food. Towns where a tourist may embark on a train to Hualien for a one or two day visit.

- Folding portable car kits are free of charge. Bikes are half price fare.
- Hualien has a shuttle bus to Ilan. A different shuttle bus goes towards Taitung.
By Bus
- Shuttle transport is half-price for all shuttle buses.
- Non-folding bikes are limited to larger buses.
- Call before you leave to understand the bus situation.
