The Ceremony of Sacrifice for Confucius was named “Shi Dian”.

Every September Twenty-eighth is Confucius’ Birthday and also Teacher’s Day.The Changhua Government holds the “Shi Dian” in the Changhua Confucius Temple according to the ancient ways.The Changhua County Magistrate serves as the Main Sacrifice Officer.The principal of N.C.U.E. serves as the Ceremony-correcting Officer.The president and the vice president of Changhua County Council, Changhua City Mayor, and other government officers serve as the Secondary Sacrifice Officers.The councilors, other principals, and other towns’ mayors serve as the Ceremony-accompanying Officers.Besides, there are also thousands of important persons watching the ceremony in the Changhua Confucius Temple every year.
