After the Ling Shing Gate comes the Justice Way, also called the Dacheng Gate. It is the main door to the Dacheng Hall. The Jii Gate is as wide as five normal-sized rooms and there are doors on the left and right. On its left is the Jing Sheng Door and on the right is the Yu Zhen Door which are used on normal days.
When the Confucius Day is coming, all civil and military officials have to hide here to dress up themselves.
The Jii Gate is as wide as five normal-sized rooms. There is a stone drum in the middle. There are stone pillars in front of other four doors in order to project the relative position to the center. There are some similar designs on the height of roof and direction of roof.
On both sides of the roof, there are dragon-head, fish body animals to mean ˇ§press down the fire and control the situation.ˇ¨ |
