In this study, we found quite a lot of information about the Irrigation Association; and at the same time, we inspected many places. As soon as all the information was collected, the teacher then asked us to integrate the existing information and draw mind maps as web pages. |
Mind Mapping:
When the teacher asked us to make mind maps at first, we were all confused, because we had no idea where to start. Then, after the teacher's instructions and the reference of mind maps from the seniors, we finally had some understanding, because we collected a lot of information, but as how to display the information, it needed a little brainstorm to sort things out, so the mind map was a tool accordingly. We discussed the details, one student for the 6th grade, and 2 persons as a team for the 5th grade, and arranged all the information. The creation of mind maps was also different from that what we had done before, we no longer drew mind maps on paper. Instead, we used Goggle’s online mind map software; it can be uploaded to the hard disk of the cloud, and can be cooperated with other people, it is very convenient and it facilitated our works.
In addition to introducing Chi-Sing Irrigation Association, I also wanted to focus on their key work, and worked out a few details, especially the water pollution part; I think I should pinpoint the main points, so that more people can notice the problem.
And as soon as we created our own mind maps, our teacher collected all the mind maps we created and discussed with us for what to add or remove; finally we came up with the mind maps for this special topic. Using mind map online is very interesting and convenient to me.
