III.Thoughts And Feelings：
When viewing the farmland in Taipei and the rice harvest for the first time, I felt that farmers are really hard working. It was not easy to get suitable irrigation water; sometimes water is in shortage; sometimes the farmland was flooded because of typhoons.
Through the explanations of leader Lin, we realized that the P.H. value of water should be between 6 and 9, and the water quality should be clean and pollution-free, in order to grow good crops. If the water is too acidic, even the super-vital snails will be "perished completely". We also saw the "water deviating gate", so if the water is too filthy, it will be blocked; if the water is clean, it will be opened to let the water flow in. In addition, there is a very special design, namely, the only stainless steel bridge in Taiwan. When the water volume is too large, it can also be covered to let the water go from above. What amazed us most is Guandu flower field, planting flowers in fallow period in the farmland can not only promote sightseeing, but also act as flower fertilizer directly after the flowers wither. It really is “two birds in one fell swoop”.
We learned much new knowledge from this inspection, which is quiet rewarding.
