The Irrigation Association will ensure that the water used for irrigation in farmland is suitable; therefore, two methods are adopted to meet the needs of waterway: periodical forecast and automatic forecast.

(1)Periodical forecast

        The Irrigation Association will send team members for each waterway every 3 months to inspect the water quality. The water in the waterway will be collected, measured, and recorded with professional instruments. But if there is a problem of water quality reported by the farmers, the Irrigation Association will send team members to do the test at once. If the water quality is not suitable, the gate would be closed immediately, so as not to affect the crops of farmland, and the cause of problems would be understood.

(2)Automatic forecast

        The Irrigation Association is currently installing automatic forecast only in several important waterways, since we need to pay attention to its condition at any time. If any condition arises, we should take immediate corresponding resolution so as not to affect the water requirement in farmland. Automatic forecast can be viewed by mobile phone APP, as soon as there is condition, a short message will be sent for notification.
