Preface

 Mengjia, namely today’s Wanhua District, was the most developed part in Taipei since Emperor Jiaching, resulting in the phrase “Fucheng, Lugang and Manka (Mengjia).” Mengjia has not been impacted by the changes of times. In Mengjia, there are the famous Longshan Temple, Qingshangong Temple, and Qingshui Temple, all of which have been designated as a third-grade monument. The large number of worshipers even make these temples a symbol of local prosperity, bringing economic benefits to their surrounding neighborhood. Also, the power of faith creates amazing stories in each temple. Now, we would like to lead everyone to review the history of these century-old temples.
