Interviewing Ms. Deng |
Ms.
Deng is really very friendly. |
Q1: Could you tell us your title,
work experience and content?
A1: I am a docent and my job is introduce Taiwan
Power Company to visitors, especially about nuclear power
and renewable power for about four or five years.
Q2: How did you get into Taiwan Power Company? What
qualifications or expertise do you have?
A2: After I graduated from university, I was asked to
have an interview here. If people want to have this job
here, the company values the fluency of the story telling
most. All departments are available if they want to, and we
don¡¦t have to worry about the professional knowledge. When
you get into the company, it will arrange various classes to
make sure you can learn all the knowledge.
Q3: Is there any risk around your working place? If
so, how do you reduce risks?
A3: The risk is that the anti-nuclear lobby is likely
to share their opinion. People are now more rational than
before. My colleague said once their action was more violent
before. Now, people just stand here, wave their flags and
express their slogan.
Q4: What is the challenge when working? How do you
dealt with it?
A4: Visitors might ask something more professional
and difficult, for example, news, idea, the latest issue,
etc. Especially, when people are sharing their feeling and
attitude about something sensitive, the conflict may arise.
These are not taught during the education, and we are trying
our best to communicate with each other.
Q5: What is your sense of accomplishment during work?
Why?
A5: When everyone is willing to listen to my speech,
this improves me to tell more about what I know. Otherwise,
if they are not willing to listen to me, it is like
finishing my speech without any interaction as soon as
possible.
