Household Guide ¢@ Safety Tips
With the
rapid development of technology, the use and utilization of
electricity has become more and more, and there are many
dangers hidden in it. The highest proportion of electricity
accidents is that electrical appliances, wires falling, and
then electric shocks.
1. Electrical disasters:
There are two kinds of electric shock and electric wire
fire.
There are four prevention methods:
(1)Reduce the voltage: increasing the thickness of the
insulator reduces the current.
(2)Increase resistance: avoid electric shock, such as
wearing slippers at home.
(3)Install Electricity Leakage Breaker: in a humid place,
such as a bathroom. If there is a leakage, the leakage
breaker will automatically cut off power to avoid disaster.
(4)Electrical grounding: Grounding can provide current
directly into the earth, so it is not easy to get an
electric shock.

2.Electric shock treatment:
(1)Do not touch the electric shock and its connected items
directly.
(2)Insulation equipment is required for rescue.
(3)Turn off the power.
3. The use of dehumidifier:
(1)Do not use it when sleeping. Remember to turn off the
power when no one is home.
(2)Do not dry clothes on it. Don¡¦t put it in the closet or
in small spaces to avoid poor heat dissipation.
(3)Do not use the dehumidifier horizontally or tilted to
prevent water from touching the circuit.
(4)Clean the filter and air outlet of the dehumidifier
regularly.
Do not dry clothes on the dehumidifier
4.The use of electric blanket:
(1)Do not use directly with the skin. Don¡¦t wet the electric
blanket to avoid electric shock caused by short circuit.
(2)It should not be used for a long time. After turning off
the power, you need to pull up the plug.
(3)It needs to be flattened, otherwise the excessive bending
and folding may cause the heating line to malfunction and
the overheating happens.
(4)It is forbidden to put other electric heating appliances
on it together.
5. Avoid stepping on or pressing the wires with heavy
objects. Don¡¦t place flammable objects around the heater. Do
not touch the dropped wires. The high-voltage electric wire
can be shocked without touching it, so it is necessary to
keep a certain safe distance. Call 1911 and Taipower as soon
as possible.
If something falls on the wire, please call 1911
6. If you need to decorate the circuit or replace the
wires in the wall, and even the circuit breaker tripped, you
must find an electrical contractor and a plumber with
professional license to check and assist.

7. No Fuse Breaker (N.F.B) cannot be replaced at
will, otherwise the current will be burned. Pay attention to
the precursor of electrical fire: odor, electric light
flashing or darkening, automatic power off. When a spark
occurs in an electrical fault, the power should be cut off
immediately and the plug removed quickly to avoid a fire.
8. Do not touch the socket with wet hands and pull
out the wire strongly because it is easy to get electric
shocks. Avoid buying provincial electrical appliances: it
does not only consume electricity, but also cause fires or
penalties for illegal use of electricity.
Do not use electrical appliances in wet places
9. Do not use a variety of appliances at the same
time. And the wires in use cannot be knotted to avoid
causing excessive power consumption, wire burnout ,and
short-circuit caused by overheating.

10.When charging the mobile phone,
it should not be overcharged or discharged. The plug that is
not used for a long time needs to be removed, and the plug
should be cleaned regularly with a dry cloth to avoid fire.

the most considerable safety problem of smeared conductive.
In my case, after using the electric fan every summer, it
will not be pulled up, and will continue to be used every
other year because as long as it is not pulled up, I will
not know how much dirt is inside the plug. Therefore, this
situation is often ignored and it is really dangerous.
