A.    Stream Status

According to related research, data indicate that Xiao Ping Ding pond originates from Plum Tree Creek. By our detailed investigations and followed the water flows, we found Plum Tree Creek originates from the dam at upstream of Gui Zi Keng river. The dam was an irrigation channel established by Zhang family from Xiao ping Ding at the time of the Qing dynasty.

According to scale survey on Google map, from Guei-Zi Keng river Pingding reservoir → Pingding reservoir tributary → Pingding aquaculture pond → Pingding farmland → Guo-hua golf club → Wu’s house → Shu-mei Keng → Zhuwei plain → Guan-Du New Villa → Zhuwei river to estuary, total length is about 12300 meters. We also found the biggest tributary, Xiaobaliben Brook, total length 3Km . It was also an irrigation channel before the serious pollution.  

B.    Pollution Status

a)     After an investigation, we found that pollution area is divided into seven sections: origin, upstream, upper area of midstream, lower area of midstream, upper area of downstream, lower area of downstream, estuary, etc, have suffered from different damage or contamination.

b)     Find out the origin of the pollution and snap photos in polluted areas. Using GPS satellite positioning system and formulate its position.

c)     Record respectively according to the kinds of pollution sources and the effect level to water.
