A. The Current Situation of This Area

From Plum Tree Creek Bridge to Plum Tree Creek No.169, this section is 1.2km in total. There are about 20 families and two pig farms which has tow hundred pigs each. The sewage are effluent into Plum Tree Creek directly so it became dirty and smelly. The sewage from the goose, duck and residents also polluted the river. Because of the height, the water in this area is less. Plus, the pipes were set up and diverse the water for irrigation. The reduce of the water affects the water quality here.

B. The Current Situation of Pollution and Problems  

a) Main pollution came from two pig farms, two duck farms and domestic sewage.

b) With steeper slopes, the typhoon period brings a lot of rain water and soil erosion caused serious loss.

c) Domestic sewage is still one of this biggest reason of pollution.

C. Our Solution

a) This two pig farmers are both illegal. Recommending to set a proper wastewater treatment.

b) Should make simple household sewage water treatment equipment to reduce pollution.
