We learned the history, culture and environmental changing by old residents, experts and the residents. Plum Tree Creek has different value during different period. Before republican, Plum Tree Creek was the main water source for agriculture, drinking and daily life. As the development of industrial, it was forgotten gradually. Plus, the ten times population made the sewage and caused the serious pollution. The beautiful crystal clean water became dirty and smelly, people started to get away from it. Our conservation action is to awake the awareness and make people to get close to the river again, so as to make them love it and then participate in the Plum Tree Creek environment conservation.

First of all, we did questionnaire interviews to the students in the public school and residents in the community to learn about people’s understanding, feeling and willing to participate in conservation of Plum Tree Creek. We promote Plum Tree Creek Environmental Education to make enthusiastic people to participate in activities related to cultural and historical, explain the impact of Plum Tree Creek to Zhuwei region. The environmental issues of Plum Tree Creek and its inhabitants has the inseparable connection, so people should learn pollution problems of Plum Tree Creek. Everyone should work together for it.

We focused on teachers, students and held several education seminars about Plum Tree Creek pollution and environmental issues in schools. Promoting our study on cultural, historical and environmental issues through education activities. Allow teachers and students to understand Plum Tree Creek. Popularized by the power of the teacher to each student, the student then extended to every family, to make Plum Tree Creek conservation become activities throughout the community.

We are also actively involved in community environmental issues and the promotion of education. Participated the environmental education activities of Bamboo Curtain Studio and WCB activities. Students may participate in environmental education activities hold by Bamboo Curtain Studio at summer. They would learn the importance of environmental awareness, cultivate the interest in outdoor activities, establish personal responsibility on the natural environment and be able to participate actively in activities related to environmental protection and ecological problems by the environmental education activities.
