The
pollutant source of Plum Tree Creek:
Excessive
use of water from headstream and over development
in the upstream area caused the water reduction at
downstream. For instance, swine industry, waste
water from the golf club, cultivation, agriculture and
husbandry from the headstream; pigsty of the midstream;
domestic sewage of the downstream.
If we care about our land and river, we will have a
healthy and clean river. It’s
really sad to see the krystal stream of the upstram
becoming dirty and smelly when it comes to downstream.

Headstream: Uncontaminated

Upstream：There
has slight pollution caused by paddy, domestic sewage
and Guo-Hua golf club.

Midstream: Due to the forest area and river self-purification.
Midstream area is cleaner than upstream area.

Downstream: Due to domestic sewage, swine industry and
other contaminate, culvert place has the most
polluted water near
Zhuwei
Bridge
. Benthic bios cannot survive and the river seems
dead. |
