Information industry plays an ever important role in our daily life. New technologies are bringing about a digital world without national borders and a digital future in which broadcasting, information, entertainment and telecommunications are overlapping industries with a single media. BCC has already begun to further upgrade its facilities, diversify its operation and strengthen its cooperation with the entertainment, information and telecommunications industries.

The 21st century is the era of Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB). The broadcasting technology has already developed from analog (AM/FM) to digital. The advantages of DAB are CD-like broadcast quality, rugged mobile reception, more room for new programs, multimedia extensions, and program Associated Data (PAD) and Non Program Associated DATA (NPAD) services.

Many countries in the world have already provided regular services of DAB transmission. In March 2000, BCC launched the first DAB experimental radio station in Taiwan, adopting the European system of Eureka 147. In 2001, BCC established the single frequency network (SFN), covering the western and northeastern coastal area of Taiwan, at the same time the first generation DAB receivers made in Taiwan was first introduced to the local and international market. From 2000, BCC DAB Network offered six DAB programming streams, including Classic DAB Network, Pop DAB Network, Da Ai Religious Network, and also Pop, Music and News Network which are also available in analog transmission. In 2005 the Government Information Office (GIO) and the Directorate General of Telecommunications (DGT) of Taiwan awarded 6 licenses to public and commercial broadcasters on national and regional levels. By 2006, BCC had a network of transmitters to cover 70-80% of the population, other 5 DAB radio station's operation are mainly concentrated on Taipei city only. Looking to the future of DAB development in Taiwan, it depends on the government support and the close cooperation between the broadcasting, manufacturing and academic sectors.

A talent staff is the most valuable asset of any corporate enterprise. BCC's dedicated workforce ensures the company's success for years to come. BCC is ready to continue leading the way into the future development of the broadcasting industries.
