On
January 19, 2009, we visited our neighboring BCC centralTaiwan relay station
-Fengyuan Relay Station. Our principal personally led our team for the
visitation and Director You-cheng Yang hosted us and gave us a wonderful tour. Director
You-cheng Yang gave us details on reception and transmission of sound wavesm,
as well as the AC made rumbling noises in the background. Next, students filed
out and visited outdoor antenna and microwave receiver and transmitter, the main
control room in the central area, press line transmission area, alternator, power
generator and other facilities.
BCC’s
Central Broadcasting Station - Fengyuan Relay Station – is in charge of
relaying the signals of 3 FM stations, BCC i Like Radio, i Radio, and BCC
Formosa Network, to the central area. Because of the layoffs and the
privatization of the station, the main control room located at BCC Formosa
Network wave moved to here for management. Moreover, the automatic online
monitoring of Puli and Wufeng Equipment rooms is done here as well.
