On January 7, 2009, the faculty
went to BCC Formosa Network to participate in broadcasting media qualification
studies. Shi-jing Kou, the Chief Executive of Programming Department explained
the program production business and development of BCC and Cheng-jie Chang, Chief
of the Maintenance Section, introduced the broadcasting status of BCC Formosa
Network in centralTaiwan
as well as the primary function of Fengyuan Relay Station. In addition, Yu-chi
Han, the host of BCC Formosa Network’s Good Night Taichung program interviewed us,
and the faculty participated in the production of an actual radio program. Finally,
the faculty visited the main control, recording room and other places.
This
trip was a great help to improve the faculty’s knowledge on professional radio
media, and they improved vastly on theory as well as practical affairs, which
will greatly help their teaching in the classroom as well as performing researches.
