The theme of our project is the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre. We wanted to share with everyone their journey over the past 40-plus years and the heartwarming moments it has created for Taiwan and the rest of the world. We would like to introduce Cloud Gate to young students in elementary school so that they could feel the beauty of Cloud Gate. After discussions, we chose the picture book about dancing to draw their interest. This would be an opportunity for them to get to know the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre better. This was followed by online research and in the end, we chose "Dance, Tanya", a picture book ideal for young students in the primary school.

After intensive discussions, we decided to promote the project with a group of two people. Plus, one more team member responsible for taking photos. We selected five classes and each group went to speak with their teachers for coordination. The scheduling was not a smooth process, but we worked together to resolve problems one by one. This experience made us realize that promotional campaigns are not as simple as how they look. A lot of details had to be ironed out with good team efforts.

The picture book was easy to understand. Like Tanya's persistence, her mother finally agreed to let her learn dance. This echoes with what the founder of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, Mr. Lin Hwai-min has faced. He said, "Anything can be taken from our lives but not our dreams". After we had chosen the picture book, we started with the presentation. The most challenging part was to make our presentation engaging. We decided to run a pop quiz by designing some questions for young children. Hopefully this sharing activity can make them interested in learning about dance and knowing more about Cloud Gate Dance Theatre.
