More efforts are in order in Taiwan to promote art groups. Watching art performances is not a popular choice for leisure activities in Taiwan. The government promotes Taiwan as the destination for culinary tours and sightseeing and ignores the dedication of art and culture groups on the island. Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, already an internationally renowned group, only attracts long-term attention from few people. We hope our government, companies, schools and social clubs to do something for the cultural scene in Taiwan so that art and cultural activities become part of Taiwan life.
