The Proficiency Process is one of the special characteristics of the Junyi platform.  Proficiency is improved through frequentative and continuous practices.  There are various levels of proficiency including level 1 to 3, proficient etc.  You have to go through appropriate and multiple exercises before reaching proficient level.  In your personal account record, you can view the symbols that denote your levels of proficiency as depicted by the yellow arrows.

What are the merits of the Proficiency Process?
1.It takes appropriate and multiple practices to turn knowledge into long term memories.  The Proficiency Process helps bring children to proficient level in the shortest time possible.
2.This is another driving force for using the platform.  If a child knows that his records are kept indefinitely,       he probably wants it to look good.  Also, he can compete with and show it off to the others.

       It takes 6 hours to get from level 1 to level 2.  There are minimum and maximum time intervals between the promotion tests.  This avoids children from having faded memory due to long period of waiting.  It takes another 16 hours to get from level 2 to level 3.  The minimum interval gets longer as one goes higher.  At the same time, experience index increases when one answers test questions correctly otherwise experience index decreases and he has to re-do exercises to assert his skills.
