Q1: Why did you set up "Double Pump", a social media platform featuring women's basketball?
A1:
Because we all like playing basketball, as well as collecting data and digging up news stories. We hope to make in-depth reports on women’s basketball players and share their stories to more people.

Q2: What message do you wish to convey by using "double pump layup" as the symbol of your blog?
A2: Double pump layup is the name of a great basketball skill. By using this as our symbol, we want to say that girls, just like boys, could also reach such high level of skill.

Q3: According to your observation, which members of the Deaf Women’s Basketball Team are most noteworthy for their performance?
A3: Since establishment of the Deaf Women’s Basketball Team, there have been players who quit the team because of conflicts with their work or study, while some have been here since the very beginning. In my opinion, it is this spirit of perseverance that is worthy of attention and to learn from.

Q4: Which game of the Deaf Women’s Basketball Team impressed you the most?
A4:
We were very impressed by their second game during the 2015 Taoyuan World Deaf Basketball Championships against Israel. Although they lost bitterly to Sweden in the first game, they did not lose heart. Instead, they tried even harder in the second game to win!

Q5: How can Deaf Women’s Basketball Team attract the attention of the web communities to obtain more resources?
A5: It can be done through continuous news coverage and putting their stories in writing. Since they are not professional basketball players, they must have their personal growth stories or how they became devoted to basketball. By making the public see their efforts and the hard work behind the victories and defeats, everyone can surely find something to learn from.

Q6: What is the difference in tactic between Deaf Women’s Basketball Team and other non-disabled women's basketball teams?
A6: The difference between deaf players and non-disabled players lies in the greater need for tacit understanding during the game, namely understanding through teammate’s gesture rather than orally, and carrying it out simultaneously.

Q7: Compared with regular women's basketball teams, what is the biggest challenge for the Deaf Women's Basketball Team?
A7: Since the establishment of the Deaf Women’s Basketball Team, there have been constant changes in its team members. Given the career planning of individual players, some of them could not go through the training from the beginning to the end. The result is that the team has to start all over again every time this happens, which is causing quite a training problem.

Q8: How can your blog continue to help the Deaf Women’s Basketball Team?
A8: We will continue to follow the Deaf Women’s Basketball Team closely and let the public see their hard work, thus adding exposure and making the team visible to more people.
