　　Buteo Huang’s college graduate exhibition piece ‘Kite museum’ won the prize for Alumni of Tamkang Architecture, which was his very first award related to kites. Teacher Huang has won several prizes of international kite festivals so far. Holding exhibitions numerous times, endorsing, and patenting his inventions, all of which are his lifelong achievements. We therefore organize his honorable events to let everyone know how cool he is.

　　Of all we find Buteo Huang extraordinary is that he has become a figure in the English textbook of junior high school. Usually only those great people are mentioned in textbooks. We hope that we could have the English textbook in Han-Lin version when we enter the junior high school, so that we could proudly tell our schoolmates that we know Buteo Huang the master.

Award．Performance & Exhibition
1987	Tamkang Architecture graduate exhibition piece ‘Kite museum’ won the annual Alumni Award.
1994	Built theme kite for the 110th year anniversary of the establishment of Taipei City; performed kite-flying in the Taipei city hall square.
1996	Planned, exhibited, and performed the Kite Park in Yilan International Children’s Folklore & Folkgame Festival.
1998	Built theme kite for ‘the 70th anniversary of Copyright’ held by Ministry of the Interior; performed kite-flying at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
1999	Exhibited in American corner in Taiwan, gallery of Taichung Chungyo, and Yilan County Cultural Center; created kites in the International Paper Art Festival at Yilan Zhongxing Paper Factory; performed opening show in the Cartoon Festival in Yilan County Wulaokeng; built theme kite for Nantou County Butterfly Festival.
2000	Planned, exhibited, and performed the Kite Park in Shimen International Kite Festival.
2001	Exhibited in En Cho Kong Hospital, National Central University Art Center, and the Postal Museum; built theme kite for the Pinglin Ecology Trip; 40 pieces were collected in Kites postage stamps pictorial issued by Chunghwa Post.
2002	Exhibited in Holland Hague and Ciencias Principe Felipe in Spain; performed in International Kite Festival in Spain.
2002	The first prize of the 25th Holland International Kite Festival.
2003	Exhibited in Hualien County Art Center, Taipei County Hall lobby, and National Science and Technology Museum.
2004	Exhibited in Hsinchu Industrial Technology Research Institute, Presidential Office Art Gallery for the Local Culture Exhibition at the Office of the President, cultural center in Paris, Beitou Kite Festival, and Nantou County International Kite Festival; performed in the Taiwan Day Festival in Rhode Island in the States, Manhattan Winter Garden in New York, Beitou Kite Festival opening, and Nantou County International Kite Festival.
2005	The first prize of American International Kite Festival.
2005	Exhibited in Presidential Office Art Gallery for the Local Culture Exhibition at the Office of the President, Center for Traditional Arts, Taiwan Culture Festival in Canada Vancouver, Hakka Museum New Taipei City Government opening, and Xinzhuang Culture & Art Center; taught in the teacher training workshop, performed in Taiwan Culture Festival in Canada Vancouver.
2006	Exhibited in Creative Ideas Exhibition of Taiwan Cultural Industry, New York World Financial Center, International Kite Festival in France, Council for Cultural Affairs, and Gandau Spring Resort; created decorative art in Sensia Blue dye Festival; performed kite flying in Tainan County new year celebration party.
2007	Exhibited in National Taiwan Museum, Pine Garden in Hualien, Sheraton Taipei Hotel, National Taiwan Art University, Academia Sinica, Shenzhen International Kite Festival, and National Defense Medical Center; performed in Shenzhen International Kite Festival.
2008	Exhibited in National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall opening, Hualien Farglory Ocean park, St. Louis Science Center,and National Taipei University; performed in Penhou International Kite Festival.
2009	Exhibited in Tainan Metropolitan Park opening, Shin Kong MitsuKoshi around Taiwan, Center for Traditional Arts, Yilan County Datong Atayal Life Museum, New Taipei Municipal Tur Ta Ka Elementary & Junior High School, and Taoyuan International Airport.
2010	Exhibited in Kaohsiung International Airport, Hakka Museum Hualien County, Beijing Niaochao square, Hakka Museum Taitung County; created kites at Yilan Siyuan Stone Castle.
2011	Exhibited in National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, Shimen International Kite Festival, Shin Kong MitsuKoshi Spring season around Taiwan, and Shin Kong MitsuKoshi Zuoying culture center; created kites in Innovative Textile Application Show in Germany; performed in Mater Mei-shu Li’s 110th birthday memorial event, and Shimen International Kite Festival opening.
