It is on Tamsui-Xinyi Line (Red Line)
and the station code is R06. The station is located at the
northern end of the Daan Forest Park. It has a natural-lit
hall and a sunken garden. The sunken garden connecting to
the hall sand has a ring-shaped corridor, pond cascade and a
circular plaza. Taipei Metro Street Dance Competition is
held here in summer vacation.

1. Daan Forest Park¡GThe
park occupies twenty-six hectares and it is like the ¡§lungs
of the Taipei City¡¨ to Taipei residents. It was built in
1994 and now it has become a green activity place for
various outdoor activities, and respite for residents to get
away from their bustle life.
2. Jianguo Holiday Flower Market¡GIt
is the parking lot underneath the Jianguo Bridge. On
weekends and holidays, it turns into a flower market where
there are numerous kinds of flowers for you to shop. You can
also find seeds, pot plants and gardening tools there.
3. Arts and Culture Area¡GIt
is an open place underneath the bridge, opposite the flower
market. It used to be a jade market but now they sell a
variety of goods such as tea sets, writing brushes,
landscape paintings, jades and stones, etc. It is a place
worthy strolling to explore some fun.
4.Taipei Public Library (Central
District)¡GIt is across from Daan Forest Park and
the step-wise design of the building outside creates an
enlivened image for visitors. Inside the library, there are
audiovisual rooms and lecture halls for holding speeches and
events. The library has a huge range of book collections.
