For traditional glove puppetry show, the puppet is a little one around thirty centimeters. Therefore, the puppeteer can just stretch out on single hand into the puppet’s body to give a performance.

Making a composition LO NIEN-HSIANG pulp can be as easy as soaking , straining it and adding water as an adhesive. While it takes a long time to dry, and in turn tends to become sour and moldy, it does work for direct modelling and casting in molds. This is certainly the most economical and least "scientific" approach. By adding fillers for strength, adhesives to bind and other additives to prevent souring, the basic recipe can be elaborated upon to provide a very dependable compound.
