Clay or Sawdust?

At the first sight of the powder-like material, it is thought to be the clay for pottery. But when you draw near to it, its strong scent that usually emits from precious wood spreads around you. If you even grip it, feel it, and take a closer look at it, you will know it is not clay; rather it looks more like haw flakes. As for the real name, it is addressed as “Luo-nian-xiang”, the sticky and scented bark powder made material. Luo-nian-xiang (abbreviated as LNX hereafter) that has disappeared for over half a century is the key material for making traditional handicrafts.
