Future Physician
Future 1: Medical Law Expert
Countering continuous medical disputes in Taiwan, many physicians have been studying law by their wisdom, in the hope of combining medical and legal expertise to clarify the responsibility of medical disputes. Faced with increasing medical disputes, if there is going to be a Medical Tribunal in the future, quite a few of medical lawsuit can be reduced. This way, it protects the rights of patients for medical treatment and allows physicians to practice medicine at ease as well.
It’s real weird to sue the physician who save people’s lives while not to sue the perpetrators. Tons of medical disputes occurred, however, a few lawyers offer litigation counsel specifically for patients with a view to make money. Therefore, there are physicians specializing in medical law to protect the interests of physicians. For instance, Dong-Wu University opens up medical-related law courses. More and more physicians study law to help their colleagues deal with the lawsuit.
Future 2: Medical Engineering Experts
The rapid development of medical science must be combined with the wisdom of physicians for an aging society. Therefore, developing various kinds of auxiliary equipment requires the understanding of human anatomy. Physicians can conduct research with automation engineer to create different robots or dig in the invention of new machines to cure diseases with medical instrumentation company, which both require a large amount of manpower.
Future 3: Pharmaceutical Physician
Being a physician can only cure one patient at a time. However, working on developing vaccine which can prevent epidemic diseases can cure many people simultaneously. Researching for hypertension, heart disease, AIDS, bran diabetes, kidney disease or urinary dysfunction can resolve the difficulty of millions of patients. As long as there is any breakthrough, one is likely to get the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
